Brief Bio
Ahmed Alenezi a lecturer at Northern Border University, Saudi Arabia and a researcher at the University of Southampton, UK. He graduated from Northern Border University with a degree in computing, and then a master in Information Technology from the University of Newcastle, Australia. Ahmed is interested in multidisciplinary research topics that related to computer science. His research interests include and not limited to: Parallel Computing, Digital forensics, Cloud Forensics, Cloud Security, Internet of Things Forensics and Internet of Things Security. Ahmed is a member of the British Computer Society (BCS), Institute for Systems and Technologies of Information, Control and Communication (INSTICC), and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Brief Bio
Gary Wills is associate professor at the University of Southampton, He graduated from the University of Southampton with an Honours degree in Electromechanical Engineering, and then a PhD in Industrial Hypermedia systems. He is a Chartered Engineer, a member of the Institute of Engineering Technology and a Principal Fellow of the Higher Educational Academy. He is also a visiting associate professor at the University of Cape Town and a research professor at RLabs. Gary’s research focuses on secure information systems, this includes information assurance, cloud computing, IoT and distributed ledgers. Gary is part of the Cyber Physical research group in the department of Electronics and Computer Science. Gary is also part of the Southampton‘s GCHQ Academic Centre of Excellence for Cyber Security Research.

SCOPE

Cloud computing is one of the fastest growing technologies in the field of computing. It is becoming more and more prevalent. Cloud computing has radically changed the way in which information technologies can be delivered. Although cloud computing has brought countless benefits to its consumers, these benefits can be misused for malicious purposes. While the literature in cloud computing in general is not scarce, a number of related topics are still rich areas for research, some of which are cloud security and forensics. Many of the challenges in the field of cloud security and forensics need further investigation. This workshop is aimed to contribute to this research on topics related to cloud security and forensics.
